کیوں زمین والوں نے آسمان کو نوچا
سچ کی جو نشانی تھا اُس نشان کو نوچا
Kyun zameen walo na asma ko nocha
Such ki jo nashani tha us insan ko nocha
زَرْد سَرْد موسم مِیں دیکھ بھال کرتا تھا
کِس لیے خزاؤں نے باغبان کو نوچا
Zard sard mosam ma dekh bhal karta tha
Kis liya khazoun na bagban ko nocha
تختیاں اُکھاڑیں سب سچ مِیں جو چمکتی تھیں
بے حِسی کے پالوں نے ہر مکَان کو نوچا
takhtyan ukhadin sab such meen jo chamakti then
be hisi ke palon ne har makaan ko nocha
پُرسکوں سَمُندر تھا سامنے ہی منزل تھی
کِس لیے ہَواؤں نے بادبان کو نوچا
pusakon samundar tha samane hi mazil thi
kis liye hawaon ne badban ko nocha
سازشی عناصر نے اِنتشار پھیلا کر
اَمْن کا گلا گھونٹا اور اَمان کو نوچا
sazishi anasir ne intashar phela kar
amْn ka gula ghonta or aman ko nocha
مائیں اپنے بچّوں کو اَب وُہی سُناتی ہیں!
چند دُشمنوں نے جِس داستان کو نوچا
main apane bachchon ko ab wuhi sunati hen!
chand dushmanon ne jis dastan ko nocha
حَق کی آب یاری کی جِس زبان نے کاجؔل
جھوٹ کے حَواری نے اُس زبان کو نوچا
